Tour Around Bolivia

Get ready for a tour that challenges your riding skills and reveals the full diversity of Bolivia. Travel across eight cities from east to west, through tropics, highlands, jungle, and desert—experiencing every climate and landscape on this unforgettable journey.

Day 1.- Arrival to Cochabamba

Early in the morning, you’ll arrive in the valley city of Cochabamba. A bus will pick you up and take you to your hotel in one of the city’s best areas. By mid-morning, we’ll head to the Andino Xperience offices, where you’ll receive your welcome pack and begin the trip briefing.

Cochabamba is ideal for acclimatization. Starting at 1,600 m (5,250 ft) above sea level, the route later descends to 700 m, where you can enjoy the warm tropical climate of Bolivia’s eastern lowlands. Are you ready?

Day 2.- Cochabamba – Sucre 330km

We’ll leave very early for Sucre, the “White City.” A winding road awaits—perfect for getting fully comfortable on the motorcycle. The surrounding mountain ranges will amaze you with their scenery. We’ll ride from warm valleys up to 1,800 m (5,905 ft) above sea level before reaching Sucre. We’ll arrive in the mid-afternoon, giving you time to explore the city.

Day 3.- Sucre – Colchane 385km

Today is an important day as we head toward the imposing Uyuni Salt Flats. The typical highland vegetation dominates the view. Not far from Sucre lies the city of Potosí, which we’ll skirt on the way, with the Cerro Rico of Potosí giving you a grand welcome. We’ll then continue our journey toward Uyuni, and about 30 km before arriving, you’ll already be able to glimpse the vast Uyuni Salt Flats, where your hotel awaits. Delight in the sunset that only the Uyuni Salt Flats can offer.

Day 4.- Colchane – Tarija 427km

From the Uyuni Salt Flats we head toward the Tarija valleys, where towering red mountains welcome us to Tupiza. The first 90 km of dirt road on this journey are nothing we can’t handle. Get ready to descend to Tarija along one of the country’s most winding mountain ranges. Savor excellent wines alongside a perfectly grilled steak.

Day 5.- Tarija – Santa Cruz 665km

Get ready for a demanding day as we enter the Bolivian Chaco, known for its high temperatures and arid geography. A challenging single-lane road called El Angosto, with sheer cliffs, will make your hair stand on end. Little by little, we’ll enter Bolivia’s eastern region, arriving specifically at Santa Cruz de la Sierra.

Day 6.- Santa Cruz día de descanso.

We know how important it is to recharge your energy, so take the day off to enjoy the pool or explore this impressive city.
