Travel winding mountain roads with shifting landscapes; visit Sucre, the White City; pass through Potos\u00ed with its rich mining legacy; marvel at the Uyuni Salt Flats and the world\u2019s highest lake; and ride the legendary Death Road in La Paz. An adventure like no other.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 1.- Arrival in Cochabamba<\/h4>\n<p>Early in the morning you\u2019ll arrive in the valley city of Cochabamba. A bus will pick you up and take you to your hotel in one of the best areas of the city. By mid-morning, we\u2019ll head to the Andino Experience offices, where you\u2019ll receive your welcome pack and we\u2019ll begin the trip briefing.<\/p>\n<p>Cochabamba is the perfect city to acclimatize. We are at 1,600 m (5,250 ft) above sea level and will climb even higher. Are you ready?<\/p>\n<h4>Day 2.- Cochabamba \u2013 Sucre 337Km<\/h4>\n<p>The adventure begins! We leave early for Sucre, Bolivia\u2019s White City and capital. Ride through Cochabamba\u2019s valleys, climb into the mountains, and by midday arrive in Sucre to explore historic landmarks, savor traditional flavors, and stay in heritage-rich hotels.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 3.- Sucre \u2013 Cayara 180km<\/h4>\n<p>Set out early for Potos\u00ed as the landscape transforms, today\u2019s ride takes you into the Bolivian highlands. Cruise through stunning mountains and open roads before reaching Potos\u00ed (4,090 m \/ 13,420 ft) mid-morning to tour a key Bolivian museum and savor a traditional lunch. Then ride on to Cayara, just 15 km away, for a magical overnight stay rich in history.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 4.- Cayara \u2013 Uyuni 236km<\/h4>\n<p>The adventure continues. Early in the morning, we\u2019ll visit Bolivia\u2019s oldest hydroelectric plant, then head toward the magical Uyuni Salt Flats. We\u2019ll enjoy a peaceful afternoon at one of the best hotels in the area\u2014rest well, because tomorrow will be a full day to discover this earthly wonder.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 5.- Uyuni and surroundings. 150 Km<\/h4>\n<p>Start the day with a hearty breakfast and head straight into the vast salt flats. Explore islands, salt sculptures, and monuments, enjoy a scenic lunch at the heart of the salar, and marvel at one of the region\u2019s most breathtaking sunsets. Finish the day unwinding at the hotel for a restful night.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 6.- Uyuni \u2013 Copacabana 656km<\/h4>\n<p>We continue toward the world\u2019s highest lake, the famous Lake Titicaca. We\u2019ll ride across Bolivia\u2019s high plateau, passing through Oruro\u2014home of Bolivia\u2019s renowned carnival\u2014and the city of El Alto, located at 4,150 m (13,615 ft) above sea level. Finally, we head to Copacabana and ride along the shores of Lake Titicaca, where your hotel awaits right by the water.<\/p>\n<h4>Dia 7.- Full Day Titicaca Lake<\/h4>\n<p>Wake early to stunning lake views, then cruise across the world\u2019s highest lake to Isla del Sol and Isla de la Luna. Savor fresh trout on the floating islands and spend the afternoon exploring the town\u2019s many attractions.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 8.- Copacabana &#8211; Coroico 247km<\/h4>\n<p>Enjoy one last breathtaking sunrise and get ready to cross from the highlands to the tropical forest on the way to Coroico. You\u2019ll get a taste of La Paz\u2019s lively traffic before we climb to 4,500 m (14,764 ft) and then descend to Coroico, a town perched high in the mountains. And don\u2019t forget\u2014have your camera ready as you ride the famous Death Road. Once in Coroico, take time to enjoy the town and its surroundings.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 9.- Coroico \u2013 La Paz 120km<\/h4>\n<p>We set out for La Paz, but not before getting to know some of the local wildlife at one of the region\u2019s most important refuges. Are you ready to discover La Paz? The ride is short, but the traffic is quite an experience. You\u2019ll cross the entire city from north to south before reaching your hotel.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 10.- Full day La Paz 30km<\/h4>\n<p>Discover one of Bolivia\u2019s wonder cities. Fly above it on the cable car, stroll through streets filled with handicrafts and striking architecture, and savor a gourmet traditional meal that will leave you impressed\u2014you\u2019ll wonder why you didn\u2019t come sooner.<\/p>\n<h4>Day 11.- La Paz \u2013 Cochabamba 380km<\/h4>\n<p>Spend your last moments in La Paz before returning to Cochabamba. Enjoy a final ride across the Bolivian highlands, then descend into the lush Cochabamba valleys to conclude this unforgettable journey.
